A lion painting often shows the king of the animals in his natural environment, for example in the savannah. This is not always suitable, especially for people with a more modern interior style, even if they love lions themselves. With this painting, Frank Krüger shows that there is another way of doing things and that a lion as a work of art can also be designed in a very modern way!

But what is so special about the lion painting “Abiolo”? At first glance, of course, the surface on which it was painted is immediately apparent? Instead of a normal canvas, aluminum was used as a substrate. The lion was then painted on aluminum with oil. Here, too, the style is different from much that can otherwise be seen and that is the second striking feature of this work of art.

With a size of 110 x 140 cm, the lion painting is a work of art that can shape a room. But the painting does not lose its effect when arranged with other works of art, but it can also blend in well. The work of art was created in 2020 and inspires many fans of the artist.
