Estudios como fotógrafo en el Colegio de Arte y Diseño de Vevey Suiza y Birmingham Inglaterra. 5 años asistente del fotógrafo suizo René Groebli.

Desde 1973, artista y fotógrafo independiente en Zurich. Comparte el estudio con su esposo Peter Schudel.
