The artist Frank Krüger creates with Tango en Porto Colom another breath-taking work of art. The viewer immediately dives into the action and can imagine watching the situation live from an opposite jetty.

DESCRIPTION
The picture shows a scenery in Porto Colom. There are old fishing garages below the fishing houses. In front of some houses are fishing boats in the water. In between there is a young couple dancing tango. She wears a red, provocative dress and he wears a grey suit.

In the background an old man plays the violin. Between the houses are some trees and the facades of the houses are reflected in the sea. There is a beautiful evening atmosphere.

INTERPRETATION
This idyll is no longer to be found in Porto Colom, on the southwest coast of Mallorca. The picture unites different cultures and shows the harmony between different worlds.

For Frank it is a journey into the past. He hears the tango between the old Mallorcan boats.
