Feliks Büttner, 1940

He likes it colorful and his largest image is known worldwide: the red lips and eyes with stretched eyeliner – the mouth of AIDA . The logo decorates the bow of the AIDA ships and travels the world’s oceans since 1994.
Feliks Büttner was born in 1940 in Merseburg. He graduated as a decorator and poster designer. He also worked as a graphic atrist for theaters. He was a guest lecturer in China and is a member of the renowned Swiss artist association Alliance Graphique.
If there would be a music that suits Feliks Büttner images, it would be the Jazz. His works are hilarious, with strong colors and strokes, and always provided with a good dose of wit. Feliks Büttner drawings, watercolors, gouaches and collages bear his unmistakable signature and are in demand internationally. His creative urge is tireless, he lives for the art and gained international prominence. His works hang in collections of New York, Mexico City, Paris and London.
